At the age of 18 On July 24, 2014, He was arrested in connection with a shooting that had happened in May 2014, Which resulted in the death of Malcolm Stuckey and the injury of other men.

He was charged with 1 count of murder and 2 counts of attempted murder, The shooting took place at 5700 South Lasalle Street in Englewood, Chicago.

After witnesses failed to testify, in 2017, all charges were dropped.

On the 6th of November, 2020 at around 2:15 am, King Von was involved in an altercation with Quando Rondo in an Atlanta nightclub.

This dispute had quickly escalated into gunfire.

He was severely injured in the gunfire and was shifted to the hospital in critical condition and died there later the same day.

He was buried in his hometown of Chicago.
